Businesses can be listed in up to 2 categories on PortlandPooch.com for free. This is what we refer to as our "Basic Listing" and it includes business name, address, and phone number. It does not include a link to your website or any featured placement on our site. These additional features are part of the advertising options described below. If you're interested in a basic listing for your Portland doggy business, simply drop us an email with the pertinent information. NOTE: We reserve the right to list or not list any business on our site, and we only list businesses that we feel are relevant to the Portland dog owner. Links Package - $15/Month

This package hyperlinks your business name and adds graphical website and email links beneath your basic listing, in each category that you are listed in on the site. We also color your listing yellow to make it stand out among others. Below is an example of how your listing will look (links are not active in this example). IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have signed up for the Feature Business Package, then you don't need this package as website and email links are already included in that package.

Featured Business Package - $30/Month Per Category

Advertising Lengths Offered: 3 Months ($90), 6 Months ($180), and 12 Months ($324, 10% Discount)

This is our most popular package. Don't let your business listing remain buried among hundreds of others, move your listing to the head of the line! For maximum exposure on our site become a featured business in the category of your choosing. Your business listing will be featured on the front page for that category, separate from the rest of the listings. This package includes both email and website links (and these links will be present on your basic listings as well). The example below illustrates how a featured business will be presented in a particular category. There may be several businesses listed as Featured Businesses for any given category, and the listing order of those Featured Businesses will be random (refresh the page and they'll be in a different order). NOTE: This package is for ONE category of your choosing (even though your business might have basic listings in several categories). For example, a business that does mostly grooming but also some training, might choose the grooming and training categories for the free basic listings, then also purchase a Featured Business listing for the grooming category.

Extra Category Listings - $5/Month Per Category)

Advertising Lengths Offered: 3 Months ($15), 6 Months ($30), and 12 Months ($54, 10% Discount)

Each business listed on Portland Pooch can have basic listings in up to 2 categories free of charge. If your business falls into more than two categories, you can purchase additional category listings for $5 per month per category. For example, you might be interested in this option if your business includes a Doggy Daycare, Boarding, and a Dog Wash. There is no limit as to how many categories your business can be listed in, however, it is at our discretion as to whether your business fits the requirements for a particular category. When signing up for Extra Category Listings, please specify which 2 categories you designate as your two primary (free) categories. NOTE: Extra categories do not apply to the Featured Business listings, only basic listings.

How do I sign up for advertising?

Simple, just drop us an email and let us know what you're interested in. We'll work with you and send you out a PayPal invoice so you can pay securely online using any major credit card (and you don't need to sign up for PayPal either).
